Welcome to The Ponderosa

Like every wakeboarder, we always want more to shred. Just minutes down the road from the Backyard Rail Park, Clark Dudley began building the #PonderosaPondGap. The whole crew helped when possible, but it was mainly his creation. We had an awesome first summer at the bi-level and we have a ton of new ideas already brewing. It felt good to get off the four wheeler and get some shots at our second backyard park.

Dog Days in Mississippi

It was an awesome summer in South Mississippi. With the birth of the #PonderosaPondGap and new additions to the Backyard Rail Park, a lot of hard work was put in over the last few months. We finally got the chance to do some filming late in the summer and a lot during the annual Pond Party. This years Pond Party was much larger than last year and we are looking forward to the next one. It has been awesome to see our hard work is helping to build the scene in South Mississippi. We have many new faces around the parks on a regular basis. Thanks to everyone who comes out to build, ride, and chill. Thanks to everyone who donated footage for this edit! The Gap Magazin - Always find a way to ride!

    The Gap Magazin is a German cable wakeboarding magazine. After seeing our Pond Party edit on AllianceWake.com they were intrigued at the idea of riding behind a 4-wheeler. We appreciate the coverage and are stoked at the thought of helping riders across the world find an affordable way to build their own rail park. As everyone knows private backyard setups are quickly becoming the future of wakeboarding and we are happy that we can bring to light new ways of riding that someone may not have thought about.  We are not the first OR the only people to have ridden behind a quad, however, I have spent the last 10 years riding behind one. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes super quick and easy. We encourage everyone who has access to a pond and a 4 wheeler, to build a rail and enjoy riding it with your friends.

Pond Party 2013 at Backyard Rail Park

The Pond Party was a perfect way to celebrate the one year anniversary of the Backyard Rail Park. We wanted to have an event that was as much about having fun off the water, as it was on the water. A bunch of friends and riders came to enjoy the festivities. Overall it was a blast and we can't wait for next year.
